It's The Start Of Something New....

Hey Ladies,

I know what your thinking why am I posting on a Saturday night and more importantly why am I quoting a High School Musical song and that's because... my first YouTube video has just gone live EEKKK! I have wanted to really dive into making YouTube videos for some time now but I was always quite hesitant. By nature I'm an extremely anxious person and I am constantly thinking "Oh god, what will people think of me". But since the end of last year I have just changed my mentality complete and to be honest now.... I really don't care what people think and I am going to do things for me. Of course there is always the fear of falling flat on my face but you'll never know until you try and this for me is a new beginning.

And what a better way to get cracking than to start off with a haul! These are all the bits and bobs that I have collected over the last month or so and I have kept them to one side so I could sit down and have a really good play with everything. So here's a few snaps of everything including swatches etc. I will leave you with a list of all the stuff mentioned below in case something catches your eye. Take Five Friday - Things I've Been Loving This Week

Hey Ladies,

It's already been a week since my last TFF seriously where has the time gone?! Is it just me or is this year FLYING by? Anyways... let's skip to the good bit, here are the 5 things I have been loving this week.

1. The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills answers the opening question in this post, I have spent the last week of my life catching up on the last two seasons. I used to watch this when I was minding Sophie last year and completely forgot that it even exists. Honestly I'd watch anything RHOBH, RHONY, RHOM and RHOC you know what these mean if you're already a fan. Can't get enough.

2. In the coming week I am heading down to Cork for the Fastnet Short Film Festival as one of Aaron's shorts is being featured which is v. exciting. Trawling through my wardrobe to find a killer outfit for the opening ceremony I came across these two items that I actually haven't wore together yet, I posted a picture on Instagram way back when but forgot about them completely since. These earrings were actually passed down to me recently by my Great Aunt May which makes them that little bit more special.

3. I may have lost the run of myself last week and finally took the plunge in buying something that I have been eyeing over the last year. God knows when and where I will wear it but look at my new swimsuit from Topshop....SO PRETTY!

4. The Chanel Cruise Collection hit the runway on Wednesday and the makeup was TO DIE FOR! Its been a while since Chanel have done anything makeup wise that interested me but I think they are so on point lately.

5. Going back to last weeks TFF post I have had one song repeating in my head (on loop) over the last week as it was featured in the Bad Neighbours soundtrack. Be honest, you can't not smile when you hear this song.....oh its gonna be a good day. Great start to the weekend!

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre!

Hey!

Whilst in Dundrum recently I was very very bold and took a little detour to the Chanel counter before work. I have been wanting a Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadow since they first launched and as soon as I swatched the shade 83 Illusoire I knew... it was just meant to be!

The packaging is simple and classic yet luxurious which is standard from Chanel. This eyeshadow also comes with a little brush which is very handy but in all honestly it will most likely end up in a drawer unused. I picked up Illusoire which is a smoky purple shade with undertones of grey and brown. The texture is quite strange in comparison to the likes of MAC paint pots, they have somewhat of a bouncy consistency but the pigmentation is great. You can either wear this product quite sheer, or build up the colour with multiple layers and most importantly it looks great blended with other eye shadows to create a smoky eye.

At €29.50 you can have a slice of luxury at a very affordable price - I think anyways.

Collective Haul

Hey Ladies,
Here as some of the things I have picked up over the last couple of weeks for my freelance kit! I'm sure you are sick of hearing me talk about how I am trying to build a really good kit and I can finally say that I am almost there. As per usual I will leave where I bought them and the cost below although I lost/threw out most of these receipts so I will put guesstimations!
