Today I thought I would share with you my everyday stash that I couldn't be without, a little treasure trove that lives on my desk right next to my trusty brushes. I was getting ready for work the other day and I realised that I have never shared with you the products that I use everyday without fail and have repurchased over and over. So it is safe to say they are firm favourites...this is why I haven't done a favourites video yet because all of the products would be the same every single month. I can literally bang out my work face in 10 minutes flat using these products or I could spend hours adding in other bits and bobs, they are the core products to every makeup look that I do.
A little more about my skin if your new around these parts. I have dry skin that is very prone to acne breakouts, my skin tone is very pale so I like to make my everyday face as natural as possible. And once I put my makeup on I want it to last because I hate touching up during the day - primers are an essential. The only thing I haven't included in this post is my eye shadows and brushes but don't worry I have separate posts coming up on them soon! Also please note that my lip colour is the only product that changes in and out regularly because I go through phases of different shades.
So dig into my stash...and let me know do you see any of your favourites? What are your everyday essentials? Want me to do a tutorial on my daily look?
For the past few weeks I have been doing the same makeup look...almost everyday. I bought the highly talked about By Terry Ombre Black Star in Misty Rock back in February and have been getting on famously ever since. At €30 its a steep spend for just an eye shadow stick but it is literally the most gorgeous thing I've ever laid my beady eyes on.
Even those who are eye shadow challenged will be able to master this beauty, simply twist it up and pop it all over the lid and either blend it out with a finger or with a blending brush. I find this fades to a soft brown shade around the edges so its not necessary to add any more shadows with it but you can if you want! Once it's on its sets so you don't have to worry about creasing, although if you do have an exceptionally oily eye lid I would recommend a primer before hand.
So I did a little tutorial using this shadow so you could see it in action:

So would I spend another €30 quid for a different colour from the collection? Definitely! My sister also picked up the same shade and gets great use out of hers! So let me know would you spend that much on an eye shadow pencil? Or do you have any dupes from a budget brand I should know about?
Blurple - GOD I just love that word! With Summer just around the corner I have started to crack out the brighter colours again and it makes me super duper excited. I recently added this Rimmel nail polish in Go Wild-er-ness from the Rita Ora collection to my nail polish wardrobe and I am absolutely obsessed. Its the perfect balance between blue and purple but yet its not too blue or too purple... it's blurple!
The Rimmel nail polishes in my opinion are literally THE BEST polishes out there. They last and last without chipping, they go on super opaque and dry very quickly for people like me who are challenged with patience. And they are like 5 quid, an absolute bargain if you ask me. The Rita Ora collection has a tonne of colours that would be perfect for festival season - super bright and funky and I think this blurple colour will be my Summer staple this year!
What is your fav Summer polish? Let me know in the comments!
I know there was no post on Monday and if you follow me on social media you'll know that I have been feeling under the weather but from my sick bed I have finally been able to edit my latest video....HUZZAH! I have to say I am so excited about this video as it has been my favourite thus far on my YouTube Channel so I am excited to share it with you all.
I am a huge fan of anything vintage so today's video is a vintage makeup tutorial. I will leave a full product list below in case you were wondering about any of the product, shade etc and if I have done any reviews on the products I will link them too. As I mentioned in the video I have got a giveaway coming up and I will be announcing it on Instagram so keep your eyes peeled on there for that.
With all that said lets get into it....grab a cuppa....

As a beauty blogger I love buying new products testing them out and telling you all about them but not all the products I buy are amazing and get glowing reviews. Every now and again I come across products that just leave me feeling really hard done by and annoyed that I spent my hard earned cash on them.
The first of the two products I am showing you today you may have already seen in my latest haul on my YouTube channel (link here). I picked up the Rimmel BB Cream during a Boots 3 for 2 offer and was quite excited because I don't normally use a BB cream. The one positive point I do have to say about this product is that its brilliant for the paler girls. But it just lets me down when it comes to coverage and with this product you can really only use one layer as it does NOT like layering up. I'll keep this one in my stash for the Summer days when I only want a touch of foundation but I honestly wouldn't write home about it just yet.
The other product is something that I have in my stash for a VERY long time and it has only been used twice....TWICE and I wouldn't mind but it wasn't cheap (€45 to be exact). I picked up the Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer which is like a blusher type deal back when I was in college and completely frivolous with money. To look at it you would just fall in love instantly, the packaging is stunning and the product is a gorgeous soft peachy tone which is right up my alley. But, I have NEVER been able to make it work and not for lack of trying. I've tried it on with BB creams, dewy foundations, matte foundations, with a brush and with my fingers. It just doesn't blend and pulls on foundation making it look patchy (think foundation with a touch of broken capillaries -FABLISS). I have just deemed it a lost cause for the time being, so if you know of any tips on using this product let me know in the comment section below I need all the help I can get!
I have a very exciting blog post for you lot today so let's get sappy for a second...
I am so appreciative to all the people who take the time to read my blog, check out my Instagram and chat with me on Twitter so I wanted to say a HUGE thank you with a little giveaway! I honestly never expected anyone to read this blog as it was created purely for my own entertainment, further my makeup skills and to have an outlet to ramble about my favourite beauty bits. I know I am not the most frequent blogger and I don't write the exceptionally long detailed reviews or opinionated posts but this is the style of blogging that I enjoy and I hope you enjoy too!.
For those of you that do read.... a mahooosive thank you!

Hey Ladies,
We all love a good nail tutorial and sometimes we see things on the internet and we are like "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT". One of those thing is the new craze of Caviar nails and in my opinion they are absolutely amazing but far too expensive for my budget so I tried the do-it-yourself way instead. It's the easiest way of getting the must have nails for much less effort and most importantly much less money!
Simply go to your local supermarket and raid the baking section for hundreds and thousands (the little balls you put on top of cupcakes). Then, paint your nails, I used Rimmel "How Do You Lilac It?" and whilst still wet dip your nail into a small plate of the hundreds and thousands. Press on the balls (teehee) to make sure they are firmly in place and remove any from the surrounding area that do not fit. Lastly, apply a top coat and your good to go!
I would recommend that you only wear these nails for a special event as they can become annoying or if some fall off you ruin the effect.
Hey Ladies,
As of late I really haven't been buying many nail polishes, I have re-arranged my makeup storage so I don't have much space to expand in that area. But, last week when I walked my niece over to the local shopping centre to get her asleep as per usual I ended up at the Rimmel stand in the pharmacy. I really wasn't intending on buying anything but when I saw this polish I just had to buy it!
The name of the polish is "How Do You Lilac It?" and it is the most subtle, pastel gorgeous shape that would suit anyone. So far, after a 4 day wearing period there is minimal chipping compared to some of my other polish and it has gotten me tons of compliments. My favourite thing about this polish is that it comes from the 60 Seconds line, which means it has a super fast drying time and it has that really handy brush which makes painting your nails the simplest of tasks. Its is quite sheer when applying so I did 2 coats to get the colour to really show through, then added a top coat.
This polish is €4.95 and is available from most pharmacies.
Hey!
On a Sunday I usually go to dinner at my boyfriends nannies, so I usually dress that bit nicer and spend more time on my make up. Over the last week and a bit I have had a really bad cold due to the change in my diet (post to follow) so I felt like wearing minimal make up with a difference. For looks like this I like to change either the colour of my eye-liner or the colour of my lips and keep the rest pretty neutral.
This is a super easy look, all I did was apply my face routine, fill in my brows and add the eye liner! This look is great because it saves you loads of time than applying 5 different shadows and its really eye catching!

I want to start a new series entitled "Get The Look", where I show you how I have recreated a celebrity look. I will make each of the looks a little different by adding my own twist, so I can wear it out and about during the day. To start off here is a Katy Perry look that I thought was gorgeous, but I decided to tone it down a bit so I used shimmer instead of silver glitter!
This is the look....

Hey Ladies,
I just painted my nails as I have a show to go to tonight so I did something that was super fast and simple! All you need is two colours and a top coat, for this I chose this grey from Rimmel, a black from Barry M and my seche vite topcoat. Simply, paint your whole nail with the grey, apply top coat and then apply the black as a french tip. Apply another layer of top coat and you're done!
