Treasures From Across The Pond/Enable Me

Hey Ladies,

I'm sure by now most of you have been on or are just about to go your holidays. Unfortunately for me I'm not heading off until the end of September(boohoo). A cousin of mine recently came home from New York and she brought me some of my fave Bath and Body Works goodies and that got me to thinking. I want to have a little chat with you all about some of the goodies we can't get here that may be on your holiday wish list...you know that guilt free shopping you do in the airport! Are you heading to the US or somewhere that has a Sephora?

I did up a little list for my friends who are heading over to the US of all the bits and bobs that I would buy and it came to a whopping $1700. Purple Smoke With By Terry

Hey Ladies,

For the past few weeks I have been doing the same makeup look...almost everyday. I bought the highly talked about By Terry Ombre Black Star in Misty Rock back in February and have been getting on famously ever since. At €30 its a steep spend for just an eye shadow stick but it is literally the most gorgeous thing I've ever laid my beady eyes on.

Even those who are eye shadow challenged will be able to master this beauty, simply twist it up and pop it all over the lid and either blend it out with a finger or with a blending brush. I find this fades to a soft brown shade around the edges so its not necessary to add any more shadows with it but you can if you want! Once it's on its sets so you don't have to worry about creasing, although if you do have an exceptionally oily eye lid I would recommend a primer before hand.

It is a moss green with a shimmer finish, which isn't something that I would usually go for. My sister originally bought this and never used it so I thought I would add it to my collection.

Purple Glitter Smoky!

Lately I have been trying to use some of the products in my collection that I rarely use, I hate wasting money and leaving products to be eaten by dust is my worst trait. So when I was going through my drawers I came across a glitter eye shadow I bought from The Make Up Store when it was at the front door of Arnotts Dublin. I decided to create a purple smoky eye so I could play with the shadow. You might recognise this look if you follow me on Instagram!

Everyday Natural Make-Up

Hey Ladies,
The makeup you wear on a day to a day basis should be natural and only enhance your natural beauty. I wear a bit more than you should for an everyday makeup but sure its my everyday makeup, I like to go a bit heavier  on the liner and lashes. This look is the same as most of my brown eye makeup looks but it is just lighter and I also incorporated a bit of glitter to this look from the middle shadow of my Golden/Rust/Walnut Bronze palette from NYX which you can see here.
